STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

The Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms is incorporated in Pennsylvania as a non-profit religious organization.  It is made up of men, women and children who want to foster the fellowship of man and the principles of the Jewish faith, life and customs.

The Fellowship gives us the opportunity to accomplish this in all three levels of the philosophy of the Jewish outlook:  that of the individual, the community and the universal.

The individual is involved in contributing his or her talents to the conception or execution of program, the attendance at functions, and the financial support of the Fellowship.

On the community level, the Fellowship provides the means to celebrate key occasions of the Jewish Calendar, to bring in speakers on topics of Jewish interest, and to offer a pool of potential friends whose companionship may enhance our enjoyment of our beautiful physical surroundings.

On the universal level, the Fellowship is our voice in the Interfaith Council at Hemlock Farms.  It is the vehicle through which we can contribute to the UJA or other specific causes.  It is our conduit for activities in support of the State of Israel.  It provides the link in the fellowship of all man.

All in all, membership in the Fellowship affords the opportunity to add a satisfying dimension to our lives at Hemlock Farms and will be personally rewarding in direct proportion to your participation.
